The goal is to integrate all date from relevant sources into the retail data store.

Currently linked sources:

• REWE merchandise management
• SAP (partly also as ABAP dataflow)
• Warehouse management system
• HR software (DPW)
• CRM software (OROCRM)
• Frequency measurement in the branches
• Sales slips as XML
• iDocs (Webshop CH)

These should be used for the central reporting. In the retail data store (RDS/DWH), the corresponding cubes (SAP HANA Calculation Views) are built that can be accessed via SQL or Tableau.

AVAILABLE CUBES

• Sales cube (DE/AT/CH)
• HR cube (DE/AT)
• Data mining cube (e.g. aggregated data for shopping basket analysis, links with promotions and newsletter/flyer campaigns).

Additional cubes for purchasing and Office World (CH) have been planned or are in progress.
